Riverside United Church
Committees

Riverside United Church follows the traditional organizational structure of the United Church of Canada. There is a committee of Stewards, which looks after the finances and maintenance of the church and also look after property/building related issues/concerns, the Trustees, which maintain the legalities in regards to property, and the Joint Session (with Moscow United Church) which has oversight of the spiritual matters of the church. There is also the Visioning Committee with the goal of "Caring for our Community" that focuses on community support and fundraising activities for the church. Representatives of these committees join with representatives of Moscow United Church to make up the Official Board of the East Camden Pastoral Charge. Membership on these committees is decided by a vote at the annual meeting.

Trustees: "the Trustee holds the property within certain restrictions, some of which are imposed by law. In the United Church, a Trustee is: “the Board of Trustees for a congregation, holds all of the property of that congregation for its use and benefit as part of the United Church."
